Twitter Tracking Links : Add A Tracking Link To Track Twitter Traffic

Add a tracking parameter to your URL to track your traffic.

If your URL is http://LoseWeightFastWithoutDieting.com/blog/post1.html to your blog post, add a ?tw=1 to the end and then it should be http://LoseWeightFastWithoutDieting.com/blog/post1.html?tw=1

If your URL is http://LoseWeightFastWithoutDieting.com/blog/2010/9/postname/, then your blog post link on Twitter should become http://LoseWeightFastWithoutDieting.com/blog/2010/9/postname/?tw=1

If your URL is http://LoseWeightFastWithoutDieting.com/blog /page.html?id=3, then your blog post link on Twitter should become http://LoseWeightFastWithoutDieting.com/blog /page.html?id=3 &twitter=1

Use the same one for Twitter leads.  Use a different one for Facebook, etc. Your analytics program will be able to track it better it by using the same one consistently for every lead source.

Since you have limited space for Twitter posts you may want to use a tiny url service to shorten your links.
